RAISE TUITION AND BUY THE PRESIDENT A NEW HOUSE
Commentary and Good walk: RAISE TUITION AND BUY THE PRESIDENT A NEW HOUSE
Sounds like a good plan? Especially when other countries are offering free tuition to students. But it's the American Government way, or at least the President of Idaho State University's way, and the State Board of education, --yeah, the ones that make Pocatello Children attend Uranium Cancer Inhalant Contaminated Radioactive Schools. Raise taxes and buy new cheaper construction manufactured homes. Why don't we just offer more scholarships instead. 1.5 million, a lot of scholarships!
Wait a moment! Are we not a public university? Not a private Ivy league college kissing ass to corporations and corrupt money? Our tax dollars and tuition are supposed to be used for young minds, not holding fat cat parties up at the Stephen's Center for a Dinner and Show for the public money abusers. Give the President a little house and a tent for his parties. Besides, we're never invited.
--Hi there, my name is Eric D'Amico. My wife, son and I are organizing a march to let the university know we don't want the President's house sold as the committee recommends. We believe this issue should be of concern to all citizens. The house is an important part of ISU's and Pocatello's history. It is also an important indicator of how public funds are spent in a state rank last in education funding. We would appreciate anyone who can and wants to support our cause to join us at Caldwell Park, Saturday, May 2 at noon. We will walk to the house and back to the park. Hopefully the administration will see the resolve of the people. Optimistic, aren't I. If you have questions I can be reached at 208 251 9733 or 208 232 5357. Thank you. Eric D'Amic
... Sad ending... After the President (Author Vailas) pitched a ball at a Uranium Superfund site, he showed his real colors. The ISU President is abandoning ship, the radioactive at his own house
has him worried.. One reason he never stays there.
